Transportation labels in accordance with hazardous materials class 9a for correct transportation of Lithium-Ion-Batteries in or with equipment (UN-Number 3481). This combination label facilitates the transportation of hazardous materials: The labels not only fulfil the DOT (department of transportation) codes, they are also in accordance with CFR (Code of Federal Regulations), ICAO and other international air traffic regulations.
As of 01.01.2017, hazmat labels for class 9a can also be used for the transportation of lithium batteries. As of 01.01.2019 this will become mandatory for all packages and parcels with lithium batteries and all of these must be labelled with hazardous materials class 9A.
