How do I find the right product label material for my application?
In order to choose the right label material for your requirements, it is important to consider various material properties that affect the durability and resistance of your product labeling. We offer a wide selection of thermal transfer labels made of film and paper in different colors and shapes, each with specific properties. They are suitable for various applications, such as sealing labels, nameplate labels, closure labels or shipping labels. Use our application, filter to find the right labels more quickly.
Good to know: Inkjet labels are the best choice. for colored prints, company logos or color graphics . They are made from inkjet paper, which enables high color brilliance and precise printing results.
How do the adhesives differ?
Our product labels are available with three different types of adhesive: removable, permanent or extremely permanent, so they are suitable for a wide range of requirements.
Permanent adhesive is suitable for long-term bonding and cannot be removed without leaving residue and damaging the surface. Permanently adhesive product labels are used in all areas where robust, long-lasting labels are required.Extremely permanent adhesive adheres particularly strongly and is designed for use on uneven, structured surfaces or in extreme temperature ranges. Extremely permanent adhesive labels are often used in industrial environments or in the freezer sector, where particularly robust and long-lasting labels are required.
Removable adhesive, on the other hand, is only suitable for temporary bonding and can be removed without leaving residue. Removable labels are often used in connection with food or for sensitive surfaces where the label should not adhere too strongly.
Please note that labels will only stick reliably to the product if the adhesive is in complete contact with the surface to be bonded. Use our adhesive filter, to find the right labels quickly!
Which label printer is suitable for my printing project?
The choice of the right label printer depends on whether you want to print labels on a roll or sheet:
- Thermal transfer printers for roll labels: Thermal transfer printers work with a ribbon that transfers the black ink directly onto the label. They are ideal for long-lasting and robust labels.
- Inkjet printers for roll labels: Inkjet printers offer excellent print quality with sharp graphics and colorful text. They are particularly suitable for labels where high-quality color reproduction is required.
- Laser printers for sheet labels: These printers allow printing in different colors, making them ideal for applications that require multi-colored labels.
Which thermal transfer ribbons are best suited for my selected label material?
