What are the differences between the various DIN A6 labels?

Our DIN A6 labels have different properties depending on the material:

• DIN A6 paper labels: Paper labels are ideal for indoor use, but should not be used outdoors as they are susceptible to the effects of the weather. The permanent adhesive with which they are equipped has a high initial adhesion.

• DIN A6 labels made of polyester: Polyester labels are water-resistant. Depending on the color, they are also weather, UV and chemical resistant. They are therefore perfect for indoor and outdoor use. The permanent adhesive with which they are equipped has a high initial adhesion.

• DIN A6 labels made of polyethylene: Polyethylene is an extremely robust label material with a whole range of properties. It is food-safe, resistant to water and seawater, resistant to high temperatures and chemicals and is also reliably resistant to oil, solvents, grease, weathering and UV radiation. The flexible, adhesive DIN A6 labels made of polyethylene can be used both indoors and outdoors. The permanent adhesive, which adheres reliably even to difficult surfaces, has an extremely high initial adhesion.

How can I print labels on DIN A6?

A6 labels are easy to use with your laser printer. It is possible to use suitable templates by using a simple text editing program like MS Word.

In your preferred program, you can usually change the document format directly by mouse click. Simply select DIN A6 as the format for the adhesive labels and place your text in the desired position. Adjustments can also be made using the manual format entry function. Simply enter the dimensions in your text program.

What storage conditions must be observed for DIN A6 labels?

Labels in A6 format should be stored at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C and a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 %. Strong sunlight, moisture and heat should be avoided in order to preserve the quality of the labels.

Are DIN A6 adhesive labels food-safe?

Our DIN A6 stickers in paper format are food-safe. They comply with the recommendations of BfR XXXVI and FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives). Accordingly, they can be used safely in direct contact with dry and fatty foods and are therefore ideal for labeling food packaging.

What are the advantages of the 62Dpc adhesive, which is used for stickers in DIN A6 format?

The 62Dpc adhesive has been specially developed for copying applications and laser printers. The 2-layer technology drastically increases cohesion, which significantly reduces adhesive leakage at the edges. The adhesive also offers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, making it particularly versatile. The improved cohesion not only leads to a cleaner print quality, but also to a longer service life of the printing equipment, as less cleaning and maintenance work is required. The adhesive is also temperature-resistant and performs consistently even at high printing speeds.
