Questions about products
What should I consider before buying a label printer?
The right answer to this question depends on a number of factors as well as the intended use. The following criteria should be taken into consideration when it comes to finding the perfect label printer:
Print volume: How many labels do you need a day?
Max. label width: What is the size of the labels to be printed?
Print resolution: How many DPI do you need?
Environmental influences: Where will you use your printer?
Connection & interfaces: Do you need a mobile or stationary printer?

The label sticks to the ribbon. What can I do?
If the label sticks to the ribbon and is pulled off as a result, try to use a lower print temperature. To do this, you may have to change the print settings on the device.
Why is the ribbon wrinkling in the print process?
The ribbon should be flush with the edge of the roll mount and run straight through the printer. Check the tension of the ribbon and make sure it is not askew. We also recommend checking the print head, nip roll, and backing roll for correct alignment. Clean the components and check them for signs of damage or wear and tear.
What print settings will provide for the best printing experience?
All components of the printer, such as the print head and print cylinder should always be free from dust and defects. We recommend that you clean the components regularly. If the print result does not come up with your expectations, this may be due to various causes. Ensure that you have the right ribbon for your label material. Other potential causes include:
Print temperature too low: increase the temperature in the printer settings
Print too light: adjust print darkness or reduce printing speed
Color ribbon installed incorrectly: the color coated side must always face the label surface

Can I also order printers which are not included in your standard product range?
Yes, thanks to our direct contact with manufacturers and distributors, we can also supply special printers upon request. Please contact our Customer Service.

Is there a minimum value I have to order?
No. At labelident.com, there is no minimum order value. Within Germany, we will ship your orders free of shipping costs as from a net merchandise value of 100,00 € (119,00 € VAT included).
What payment options are available?
Safe payment options are available in our online shop. If you are a business client, we accept cash in advance, invoice, Paypal. If you are a private client, we accept Paypal or advance payment through bank wire transfer. For details, also refer to our shipping costs & payment options overview.
How long will it take for you to deliver?
In our warehouse, approx. 10,000 articles are ready for delivery. If you order on normal weekdays (Mo to Fr) before 4 pm, the ordered goods will normally leave our warehouse on the same day. Custom label designs will be ready for shipment within 2 to 5 weekdays.
What are the shipping costs?
Within Germany, we will ship your orders free of shipping costs as from a net merchandise value of 100,00 € (119,00 € VAT included). For details on our shipping rates, please refer to our shipping costs overview.
When will I receive my invoice?
Once your order has been processed by our Customer Service, we will send the invoice (PDF file) to your registered e-mail address.
How will my merchandise be shipped?
You can choose between standard or express delivery. Large-scale orders will be shipped via a trucking company for safe delivery.
Can I use an alternative invoice address?
Yes, you can register different addresses for invoicing and delivery and select your preferred address for your next order in the checkout process. What if I have already placed my order? Can I still change the shipping address? Please contact our Customer Service.
