Direct Thermal Foil Labels
Direct thermal polypropylene labels combine the properties of thermal papers with the durability of films. They are particularly water-resistant and also hold up on damp or very cold surfaces. They are therefore increasingly used in the food industry as fruit and meat labels. The flexible and hard-wearing film material is also used to label curved surfaces, bottles or packaging films. Due to their very high touch adhesion, polypropylene labels are often used in conjunction with high-speed dispensing systems.
They can be printed using the direct thermal method without a ribbon.
