Polyethylene (PE) is an organic material with a structure similar to wood and vegetable fibers based on carbon and hydrogen. Already in the production process, PE materials are more eco-friendly than comparable paper labels or those made of other plastics, since the production requires less energy. Polyethylene is free of softening agents and does not contain any halogens, chlorine, sulphur, silicones or heavy metals such as Cadmium, Lead or other stabilizers. The non-permanent, removable adhesive can be applied to even, dry surfaces such as glass or stainless steel. We recommend testing the removability on the desired surface. The adhesive is in compliance with federal regulations FDA 175.105 and the recommendations XIV of the BfR (Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung). These labels can be used in indirect contact with dry and moist, non-fatty foodstuffs. Polyethylene is an inert synthetic that is recyclable with neutral properties when discarded properly.
